We're hoping to make this an interactive site and welcome your views on anything spiritual. So all you budding authors - get writing!
If you don’t use it…
Human beings do like to know things and control things. Knowledge is great and learning is something that keeps us moving both forwards and backwards! And we all know that as we get older the old grey cell start to become fewer and we can begin to become a bit more forgetful. Magazines and newspapers advertise companies asking you questions such as, “Is your memory failing you?”, or “Would you like to be able to learn how to improve your memory?” Put another way, “ Pay us HUGE sums of money to make you believe your mind is as nubile as that of a knowledge thirsty toddler. Even the ‘wonderful’ institution of Bingo halls
tries to draw people in with the motivation of stimulating the mind and keeping the memory healthy. And we all know the saying,”If you don’t use it you lose it!”
Have you ever wondered about this in relation to crystals? I mean, really thought
about them and how they are fundamentally contrary critters?.

We can all admire their beauty and use them as inspiration for literary images
and descriptions. For example you might look at a tumbled Bloodstone and
think it looks like the sea after a storm and a mighty battle or look upon a tumbled
Azurite and see a peaceful lagoon. You may look at a piece of raw golden beryl
and be reminded of a piece of candied ginger or tumbled Jasper and think of an
Australian salamander. .
Then again you might not! You might just feel the need to hold them and put them against your skin, try and paint them or just look at them. You may even want to learn about different types and learn about their healing qualities and even be healed by them. Or use a pendulum to guide you.
But as you know crystals do not like to be taken for granted. They do not like to be overused and will point blankly refuse to cooperate if you think you can. If they stop, it is their way of reminding you to cleanse them and respect them .Yes, they will help, but only if you remember, “If you over use it, you WILL lose it!”
