TERA-MAI ^TM REIKI & SEICHEM

Tera-Mai^TM is a powerful system of healing developed by Kathleen Milner, an American artist, teacher and author of "Reiki and Other Rays of Touch Healing and "Tera, my Journey Home".<>At the end of the 19th century a healing method was rediscovered in ancient Sanskrit texts by a Japanese scholar, Mikaomi Usui. He called it Reiki, pronounced <>ray key a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Energy. Reiki was taken to America during the 1940s.

Seichem, pronounced say keem, is reputedly one of the healing arts practised in ancient Egypt. In the Tera-Maim^TM system, Reiki is an element of Seichem.As Tera Mai^TM healing is energy channelling, it has no association with religion, faith, or belief systems and can be received by anyone who is willing to be healed. Healing can be given in a hands-on treatment and can also be sent across time and space to people, situations plants and animals..


You can heal and balance yourself and your life and help other people to do the same.

ATTUNEMENTS
In order to channel these healing energies, you must be attuned to them by a Tera-Mai ^TMMaster. Being attuned to the elemental healing rays, accelerates your personal and spiritual growth and development.

Tera-Mai^TM is a system of standardised attunements so as to ensure the quality of the energy transfer. Only a Master entitled to use the Tera-Mai^TM trademark can pass on the full energy and purity of these attunements.



SEICHEM INCLUDES REIKI
But you can choose to be attuned to Reiki only. In order to assimilate the energies, the attunements are taken in three stages, called degrees. At the first degree, you will be individually attuned to the healing energies and taught how to work on yourself and others.

The second degree attunement enables you to channel stronger energy more quickly. You are introduced to the use of symbols and taught how to send healing through time and space.

The third degree is Mastership level and is a very powerful initiation. Many experience greater spiritual and psychic awareness as a result. Though you do not need to have learned Reiki before learning Seichem, it is a natural progression for existing Reiki practitioners and special courses are available.

Other attunements are also available within the Tera Mai^TM system.



A HEALING TREATMENT
A treatment usually lasts about an hour. You remain fully clothed and can receive the energies while lying down or sitting. The healer will gently place his or her hands in various positions on, or just above your body. You may feel a pleasant sensation of warmth, coolness or tingling.A healing treatment is usually very relaxing It can be an opportunity for emotional release, a chance to talk, or you may simply fall asleep!

It takes a few days for the energies to be assimilated. During this time you may feel revitalised or temporarily a little worse - a good sign that you are releasing the cause of your symptoms. Everyone’s reaction is different and no two healing treatments are the same.
